Football 2008

"Mark Coaching the TEAM"
We just wanted to show everyone what the Rogers Family has been doing for the last 7 weeks. FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL. The boys are playing 5th and 6th grade football. Luckily for us, they practice at the same elementary school not too far from our house. Mark is helping the 5th grade coaches. We try and make it a family affair most of the time. They practice 4 nights a week. Blake practices from 5:30 to 7:30 and Brady practices 6:00 to 8:00. We try and have dinner before we head out the door. By the time we get home the boys are hungry again. While the boys practice, mom sits with the other football moms. We visit, and watch our boys. The girls play on the play ground with the other kids.

Every Saturday we spend part of our day at Canyon View Park watching the games. Last Saturday, the boys played at the same time. The games started at 8 am, which means that we have to be there at 7 am on a SATURDAY!! They play caty corner from each other. Mark had to film the 5th graders, so I was back and forth. When Blake's team scored I ran over and told Mark and watched a few minutes of Brady's game. When they scored I was back at Blake's game.

In between all of that, I was trying to keep an eye on two little girls. Boy what a busy morning. It was nice that they played at the same time, then we went home and had the rest of the day to get things done.
Both boys won their games, which was really nice because we had happy boys for the rest of the day. They have both won 2 out of 3 games. Only 4 more games before the playoffs. If the do well, we could make it to the SUPERBOWL again this year!!!!

How fun! I hope they make it to the superbowl. Kenna and Izzy look like they are having fun, too. What a cute family:)
