Grandpa and Heather come to Junciton

Grandpa and Heather can to see us a few weeks ago. They brought Chloe and Monte. We were so happy to see them. We love visitors of any kind. They only got to stay two nights this time, so our shopping days were cut down to two.
Heather and her kids got to experience football practice with me. We went to Brady's two hour practice while Grandpa and Mark went to watch Blake scrimage another team. It was fun, but practices are hard when they are TWO FULL HOURS and all you do is just sit and watch.
On Friday we set off early to find some garage sales. One of the first one we found, had beautiful Christmas trees for $2. They are about 2 1/2 feet tall and gorgeous. Heather bought two for herself and two for Ann. I got me one. Dad just shook his head. "How are we going to fit these in the car with all the stuff from Sams we need to get". Well you know Heather, she made them fit. We took dad to the Mall and shopped all day. Then more practice for the boys. Dad, Heather and I went to Sams instead of football practice. We went to more garage sales on Sat and found lots of great "men" stuff. The boys played at the same time 12pm. We watched the first 1/2 of Blake and the last 1/2 of Bradys. Blake won and Brady lost. But we had a good time. It was about 84 degrees that day. We had to keep Chloe out of that sun.
After the games dad and Heather had to leave. It is always really sad when our company leaves. I feel like Aunty Lane used to when grandpa Howard, mom and some of us kids would drive all the way to Creede for the day and then leave. Elaine and her kids would stand at the fence and cry as we drove off. We are lucky because we do get to the Valley every couple of months. We had a great time with Grandpa and Heather and look forward to their Spring visit.
