Yeah we got some snow. That is what the kids said Sunday morning on the 14th. We had about 4 inches before we left to church. The were so excited, the had big plans to build a couple of forts and have a snowball fight. When we left church, the sun was out, but it was cold. The kids were in a hurry to eat lunch and get out. We had to find all of the snow clothes and boots. By the time they got out, the snow had settled to about 2 or 3 inches. They did play and built forts. The girls came in first ready for hot chocolate. But the boys stayed out for a long time. I made them play in the back yard, because I wanted to snow to stay perfect in the front yard. Growing up, our neighbors, Max and Mary had the perfect snow in there front yard. No one would walk on it, but ours was always trampled on.
The last week, we have had snow at least every other day, if not every day. We only have a couple of inches on the ground. It seems to melt a little in between storms.
But as we prepare to leave for the Valley, there are at least two storms headed our way. Hopefully the roads won't be too bad.
